Student Art for Policy Change Exhibit 2026

Date & time
April 21, 1-2:20 PM

Location
The Becky Blank Great Hall
Weill Hall, 735 S State St.

Please join the students of PubPol 475.005/750.005 as they showcase some of the art they created this semester. This year’s students focused on a range of topics, including healthcare, disability, climate change, war, housing, imperialism, and immigration policy. Ask them about how social science research and theory, UMMA’s American Sampler Exhibit, the Arts Initiative, and the Labadie Collection informed their art.

For students, the exhibit is an opportunity to share their art with the broader community, to teach others about the role of art and social movements in policy change, to respond to thought-provoking questions, and to engage in dialogue about what kind of future we want and how we might get there. For guests, the exhibit is an opportunity to learn about the role of art and social movements in policy change and different theories of policy change.

Join us as we celebrate the work of our students!
